In celebration of another bittersweet Eid al Fitr in Gaza. The word "eid" in Arabic is drawn in geometric Kufi calligraphy and placed at an angle to resemble barbed wire to symbolize the caged oppression of the Palestinian people. The diacritic marks beneath the letter "yaa" symbolize blood and also resemble an exclamation point. The green background is an olive color to symbolize hope and resilience just like an olive tree.
